A Day in the Park
A beautiful day to have a picnic in Hawrelak Park. Then we take a walk around it and feed the ducks.

AGUMAN SANDUK OF MINALIN ( Fellowship of the Ladle)
Aguman Sanduk(Pampanga, Philippines) is celebrated in the afternoon of January 1, while the rest of the country takes a nap after the New Year's Eve revelry, and there's no one to catch the boys and man of this sleepy fishing town wear their mother's lipstick and put on their wives dresses. This strange and largely secret tradition began in 1934; even mayors and parish priests are said to have also joined hundreds of men who parade annually the ugliest of the cross-dressers. What's unique: it's part parody of Kapampangan machismo and Kapampangan pulchritude, two biases enshrined on the altar of Kapampangan values; it's part protest against, and liberation from, gender discrimination and repression; it's part attempt to stage tier version of the Gay Pride Parade except that its participants are straight and it's their way of saying we can do it better and we can certainly look better and well, let's do something crazy for once! An experience you won't forget: don't freak when you see ten-year-old boys wearing their sisters' dresses, and farmers and fishermen with sunburned skin and toothless grins wearing micro - minis over scarred legs and blond wings covering their bald heads. Northern Lights of Canada
Scientifically it is called Aurora Borealis. But it is well known now as the Northern Lights. The best time to view the aurora is from late August to mid-April. This Northern Lights runs across Alaska, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, the areas bordering James Bay and Hudson Bay (Northern Ontario; Abitibi and Baie James in Quebec), and the North Shore. I haven't experienced seeing it but I bet It would really be an amazing sight to see. Hopefully someday....

is an American-Japanese singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist. She is best known for her acoustic cover version of Rihanna's No. 1 hit "Umbrella", which attracted attention on YouTube in 2007. The song was subsequently played on the radio station STAR 98.7, was featured on the third season opening episode of the MTV show The Hills,[1] and peaked at #10 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. Digby performed the song on the late night talk show Last Call with Carson Daly on August 2, 2007. Her first official single, "Say It Again", was released to radio stations on January 18, 2008. Her debut album, Unfold, is set to be released on April 8, 2008. Really liked all her songs!!!
